Hello,
I am a World music explorer with a strong interest in ethnic drumming. My favorites are Cuban Rumba and the folkloric Bata drumming associated with Santeria. I also enjoy most African and Island music. Preferably leaning toward tribal and loaded with percussion.
Reggae is great so long as it's roots, not too much into rap or the hip-hop culture. Old school Calypso is fun but I havent collected much of that yet.
I enjoy playing congas, bongos, timbales, shekere, and many world percussion sound effects, bells, gongs, cymbals and such.
Hope there is some kindred spirits out there.
